New Polling: nearly two-thirds of MPs elected in 2024 say training and preparation for their roles insufficient

New polling by YouGov has revealed a ‘preparation gap’ for new MPs entering Parliament. The survey found 59% of those elected in 2024 thought training and preparation for new MPs insufficient. 335 MPs were first timers in Parliament at the 2024 election, out of 650 in total.
